Kathryn "Kathy" Elizabeth Lynch, age 45 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of John "Jack" Zebulon Lynch and Janie Mildred Bowen Lynch who survive,
Kathy was employed by Gentiva Health Services in Raleigh. She was a graduate of Western Alamance High School class of '88 and received a BS degree in English from UNCG. She was an avid fan of the Carolina Hurricanes. Kathy enjoyed going to the beach with her family and friends and was an extraordinary cook.
Survivors include her parents of the home; sister, Melinda Morrow and husband, Jake of Mars Hill, NC; niece, Rachel Morrow and a nephew, Jack Morrow. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Zeb H. and Alma Hodge Lynch and maternal grandparents, Clyde R. and Janie McKethan Bowen.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Alamance-Caswell and her many friends and co-workers for their loving support over the past months.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at Elon Community Church by Rev. Randy Orwig and a time of visiting and reflecting will follow in the Elon Community Life Center. Other times the family will be at the home of her parents.
